Therapist Thursday: This Week’s Featured PT: Wei Helen Jiang

Happy Therapist Thursday! We are thrilled to be introducing one of our PT’s from Louisville, meet Helen!

Wei Helen Jiang, PT, DPT

Which Results clinic do you work/have you worked at?

I am currently working at the Brownsboro clinic, and I’ve completed a clinical rotation at the Okolona clinic, both in Louisville, KY.

What is your role?

I am a staff physical therapist.

How long have you been with Results?

A little over 1 year as a staff PT and a 12 week rotation as a student.

What made you want to become a physical therapist?

Growing up, my family opted for a more conservative/holistic type of treatment whenever I would get sick, so that influenced my perspective on medicine in general and became a major reason why I chose to become a PT.

What’s your favorite part about your job?

I like building a relationship with my patients and experiencing the ups & downs with them. It brings me joy to know that my patients trust me to help guide them back to doing to the things they want to do. Whether they are having a good or bad day, they want to come to therapy because they know things will get better and that I will be with them every step of the way.
